Project Overview
Located in Manama’s commercial district, LK Nine Headquarters Bahrain is currently being designed for a high-profile local client behind a renowned luxury womenswear label.
Spanning 45,000 sq ft across four floors, the project aims to redefine what a corporate headquarters can be. The ambition is to create a space where fashion, hospitality, lifestyle and work exist within one coherent environment.
The client’s vision goes beyond a traditional office. The headquarters must support VIP receptions, fashion events, client showings, photoshoots and daily operations, while maintaining calm, clarity and refinement.
The Design Direction
The guiding concept for the project is Sculpted Sophistication. The idea draws inspiration from pleating, draping and folding, gestures inherent in couture. Rather than dividing space into rigid zones, the design embraces flow. Walls curve gently. Ceilings layer softly. Materials transition with intention.
Movement becomes part of the spatial language.
This is a resimmercial approach grounded in emotional experience. Warmth and tactility are introduced through material layering and ambient lighting, while maintaining operational efficiency and workplace performance.
Materials and Atmosphere
Material selection plays a central role in shaping the identity of the headquarters.
The palette includes soft stone, textured stucco, warm timber panelling and brushed brass detailing. Neutral tones are layered to allow natural and artificial light to shape the space throughout the day.
Subtle terracotta undertones introduce warmth without overpowering the composition. Brass elements add refinement. Textured surfaces create depth and scale across larger volumes.
There is a quiet reference to regional architectural traditions. Geometry is expressed through proportion and shadow rather than ornament. The overall mood remains contemporary, measured and composed.
The Ground Floor
The ground floor establishes the first impression. A reception lounge welcomes guests in a setting that feels more aligned with hospitality than corporate formality. Seating is arranged to encourage conversation. Lighting is layered and soft. Materials are tactile and restrained.
A café counter anchors the space, reinforcing the hospitality-driven nature of the headquarters. The VIP arrival zone is designed with discretion in mind, supporting private meetings and high-profile visits.
Circulation through the ground floor is intuitive. Curved architectural elements guide movement without imposing direction.
Every detail contributes to a coherent sensory experience.
The Upper Floors
The upper floors accommodate a range of workplace environments. Open-plan areas encourage collaboration. Private cabins and executive offices provide focus and privacy. Boardrooms are designed to host both internal strategy sessions and client presentations.
A dedicated fabric showroom reflects the client’s fashion identity and creative process. This space allows materials and craftsmanship to be integrated into the daily rhythm of the office.
A photoshoot area enables in-house production, supporting the operational needs of the brand.
The layout balances openness with discretion. Circulation paths are clear. Visibility and privacy are considered equally in the planning process.
Wellbeing and Function
The design also supports wellbeing. Acoustic pods, lounge-style breakout areas and quiet zones are integrated across the floors. These spaces allow employees to pause and reset within a calm environment.
Material choices contribute to acoustic comfort. Lighting is designed to reduce glare and create a consistent atmosphere throughout the day. Soft furnishings introduce warmth while maintaining professional clarity.
The headquarters is being developed as an environment that supports creativity, focus and adaptability.

LK Nine Headquarters is currently in the design development phase. The project represents an ongoing exploration of how brand identity, hospitality principles and workplace strategy can converge within a single architectural framework.
The intention is to create a headquarters that aligns with the client’s values while supporting the full spectrum of her business operations.
