Commercial Interior Design explores the lighting design behind DZ Design’s Amaseena
Our night-only Arabic restaurant Amaseena, at The Ritz-Carlton, JBR, has been featured in Commercial Interior Design magazine, with the piece taking a close look at how lighting shaped every layer of the concept.
The feature explores how DZ Design used lighting not just for ambience but as a guiding element throughout the 10,000-square-foot outdoor venue — from LED pathways traced beneath the palm trees to Arabic lanterns and diffused uplighting that carry guests from communal tables into more intimate, cabana-style corners. Colour temperatures were deliberately kept at 2700K and below, letting the terracotta tones, brass details and Persian rugs come alive as the evening deepens.
“Each element within Amaseena has been carefully chosen for its ability to transform under the influence of light, contributing to the immersive experience,” says Dina Murali, Design Director at DZ Design.
It’s a story we’re proud to see told in detail — read the full feature on Commercial Interior Design‘s website.
