DZ Design unveils new looks for the outdoor night restaurant Amaseena at The Ritz-Carlton, JBR
Design Middle East has featured DZ Design’s latest hospitality project, Amaseena at The Ritz-Carlton, JBR, highlighting the restaurant’s contemporary interpretation of traditional Arabic culture.
Spanning more than 10,000 square feet, Amaseena was designed around the themes of family and gathering, creating a modern outdoor dining destination with references to Dubai’s heritage and Bedouin hospitality.
DZ Design developed a sophisticated terracotta palette inspired by the surrounding desert landscape, complemented by natural textures, outdoor fabrics, terrazzo, handcrafted brass details, intricate woodwork and Persian rugs.
Lighting was central to the design, particularly as Amaseena operates as a night-time restaurant. Warm colour temperatures, lanterns, LED strips and reflective surfaces create an atmospheric experience after dark, while integrated lighting guides guests through the space.
The restaurant also offers a variety of seating experiences, from communal dining areas to intimate cabana-style spaces. Contemporary furniture is combined with patterned cushions, mosaic details and fabric canopies to create a balance between comfort and traditional influences.
The feature highlights DZ Design’s approach to creating hospitality environments that reinterpret local culture through contemporary design while creating a distinctive experience for guests.
