Designing the Desert After Dark: DZ Design’s GOBI at The Ritz-Carlton Ras Al Khaimah
DZ Design is pleased to be featured by identity for its work on GOBI at The Ritz-Carlton Ras Al Khaimah, Al Wadi Desert.
Titled Designing the Desert After Dark, the feature explores how GOBI reinterprets Bedouin nightlife through a contemporary design approach, combining desert-inspired textures with subtle Asian influences.
Spanning approximately 10,100 square feet, the new dining and social destination was conceptualised by LIVIT and delivered through DZ Design’s detailed design and Architect of Record services.
DZ Design played a key role in validating the concept, developing the detailed design and acting as lead design consultant throughout the delivery of the project.
The venue brings together indoor and outdoor environments designed for social connection, live entertainment and relaxed dining against the backdrop of the Al Wadi Desert.
The project demonstrates DZ Design’s ability to translate a strong conceptual narrative into a refined, functional and immersive hospitality environment.
